AMONG items seized from the suspects include calculator, handphone and cash.

KUCHING: Police raided four locations in the city on Wednesday for selling illegal lotteries. Kuching district police chief, ACP Abang Ahmad Julai said a woman was arrested at a retail shop at Gold Jade Road at about 1.50 pm.

Seized from her were a handphone, stationery and RM33.

In the second case, a man from Stampin Resettlement scheme was arrested at an eatery at Gold Jade Road at 2 pm.

Stationery and RM53 were seized from him. A 20-year-old man from Engkilili was arrested in a bookstore at Kenyalang Park at 3.10pm.

Seized from him were stationery and RM42. In the fourth case, a man from Samarahan was arrested and seized from him were stationery and RM21. All the arrestees are being detained for questioning.
