BINTULU: The police here arrested four teenagers and seized two cannabis plants during a raid at Kuarters Gusama Persekutuan on Wednesday.
Bintulu District Police chief, Supt Zailanni Amit said the suspects, including a girl, were aged between 15 and 21.
He said during the raid at around 5.30am, the police also seized a container filled with dried leaves believed to be cannabis, weighing about 3.5 grammes, two plastic sachets containing suspected cannabis leaves, weighing about 4.45 grammes, a blender, table, padlock and key.
Zailanni said the suspects were tested negative for drugs and the case would be investigated under Section 39A(1) and 6B of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952.
“The estimated value of the drugs seized is RM1,800,” he added.
