KUCHING: The public is invited to enjoy the musical theatre performance “Kasih Padi Bonda” on August 21 and 22.
Written by Nooruddin Ismail Talib, the play will be staged at the Balai Budaya, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) Sarawak Branch, starting at 8 pm.
In a statement, DBP Sarawak Branch and Pertubuhan Insan Dramatis Bintang Cahaya Kuching announced that admission is free.
“Kasih Padi Bonda” tells the story of the sacrifices and challenges faced by a single mother in raising her two children.
The creative touch of director Rushdi Mornie Daud is expected to be a highlight eagerly anticipated by theatre enthusiasts in Sarawak.
