SIBU: Visitors attending the Sibu International Powerboat Race 2025 (SIPBR2025) are encouraged to park at the Pulau Li Hua Commercial Centre and make use of the free shuttle bus service provided to reach the main event venue.
Programme coordinator Haider Kowel Bete said the arrangement is aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow and public safety throughout the three-day event.
“Three shuttle buses will be operating on a 15-minute rotation to ensure visitors can travel to and from the event site with ease. We truly appreciate your cooperation,” he said in a statement today.
He added that only vehicles with a special pass will be granted access to the main event area.
“These include those belonging to invited guests, the SIPBR2025 organising secretariat, race participants, and official food vendors,” he said.
SIPBR2025 will be held from Apr 25 to 27 at the Pulau Li Hua Waterfront, featuring 262 entries across eight categories.
Participants will include not only Malaysians but also competitors from Brunei Darussalam.
