SIBU: The Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration themed ‘The Moon in Sibu is Rounder’will be held for two nights on Sept 27 to 28 at the Rejang Park Commercial Centre here starting at 6 pm.
Organised by Sibu Member of Parliament, Oscar Ling Chai Yew cited that the theme seeks to showcase local musical talents through stage performances such as a capella competition, dance performances, and instrumental shows, allowing Sibu residents to discover and witness their own talents and potential.
In addition, there will also be exciting interactive stage activities with the crowd such as fun games, Super Eater Competition, and Tang Suit Fashion Show.
Another interesting catch during the event is the Lucky Draw, which offers attractive prizes. To be eligible, participants must spend a minimum of RM10 at any stalls during the event to receive a lucky draw ticket.
“A total of 60 prizes are up for grabs, with 30 prizes each night. The public should not miss this golden chance.
“This weekend’s two-night event will feature 15 stalls offering popular food, handicrafts, cultural and creative products, and refreshing beverages. Visitors can expect a delightful and surprising experience throughout the evening,” he implied.
Ling encouraged everyone to come and join in the festive spirit of the Mid-Autumn festival, and to bring their families and friends to enjoy the lively atmosphere.
