KUCHING: Sarawak-based muaythai brothers, Elias Ghazali and Mikail ‘Miki’ Ghazali are set to return to the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) stage in Thailand tomorrow (Saturday, April 18), continuing their rise on the international circuit.
Elias will face Superchub in a lightweight bout, while Miki takes on Muanglaos in a 128lbs catchweight contest at the iconic Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok.
Both fighters head into the bout on the back of encouraging performances in February, where they made their mark on the RWS stage.
Elias edged Japan’s Haru Akita in a closely contested bout, showcasing composure in a deciding round to secure victory, while Miki impressed on debut with a majority decision win over Iran’s Reza Dostielmi.
The results saw Elias improve to a 1-1 professional record, while Miki remains unbeaten at 1-0, marking a positive start to his RWS campaign.
Their return to the April card signals another step forward as both brothers continue to test themselves against regional opposition in one of Muaythai’s most competitive arenas.
With momentum on their side, the Ghazali brothers will be looking to build on their February success and further strengthen Malaysia’s growing presence on the global Muaythai stage.
