KUCHING: A four-year-old girl who was playing with her friends and wanted to return home to Kampung Semerah was bitten by a monkey.
The girl was walking along a jungle track home with her family members at about noon on Sunday when she saw a monkey and teased it.
The monkey become agitated and bit her on her left shoulder.
The monkey then immediately fled into the jungle after the girl screamed in pain. Her family members later took her to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
