KUCHING: The Ghazali brothers made Bangkok their stage this past weekend, delivering a clean sweep of muaythai victories that underlined their growing reputation on the international stage.
Johan “Jojo” Ghazali stole the spotlight at ONE Friday Fights 141 last Friday (Feb 6), dismantling Myanmar’s Ye Yint Naung in their flyweight muaythai fight with crisp counters, precise body kicks, and slick punch combinations to claim a unanimous decision, extending his ONE Championship record to eight wins.
The momentum continued at the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS), where Elias Ghazali went toe-to-toe with Japan’s Haru Akita.
After two evenly matched rounds, the fight moved to a Judgement Round, and Elias’s clean, effective strikes earned him a 29–27 unanimous decision.
Meanwhile 16-year old Mikhail “Miki” Ghazali made a dazzling RWS debut against Iran’s Reza Dostielmi, securing a majority decision win with sharp elbow strikes in the third round that swung the bout in his favour.
From Jojo’s refined tactical mastery at Lumpinee Stadium to Miki and Elias’s hard-fought triumphs at Rajadamnern, the brothers left no doubt about their growing talent in the sport.
The weekend ended on a high note, with the three siblings celebrating their victories together, smiles wide and spirits high, cementing not only wins but memories that will last a lifetime.
