KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi extended their warmest greetings in conjunction with the 219th Police Day celebration, conveying appreciation to personnel of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), including retirees and veterans.
In a press statement today, Wan Junaidi expressed his gratitude for the sacrifices and unwavering commitment demonstrated by the nation’s police force in ensuring public safety and maintaining peace and order.
He also expressed hope that PDRM would continue to remain steadfast as a frontline force, ever ready to carry out their duties while upholding the values of integrity, professionalism and efficiency.
Wan Junaidi added that these qualities should serve as a model for society, as the force continues to play a vital role in safeguarding the nation’s wellbeing and sovereignty.
