KUCHING: The Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi have been invited for a cordial courtesy visit incorporating two Ramadan events in Kuala Lumpur on February 28.
The invitation was relayed to the Sarawak Governor during a courtesy visit by a group of delegates led by Yayasan Sarawak director, Datuk Mohamad Junaidi Mohidin, MAKSAK Sarawak chairman Datuk Baduyah Bujang, deputy director (Operations) Mohamad Adzlie Ibrahim, and deputy director (Education) Watson Chunggat Leonard Doo at his official residence yesterday (Feb 24).
The couple was formally invited to attend the Majlis Berbuka Puasa Anak Sarawak in Kuala Lumpur.
In addition, a special invitation was extended to Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah to participate in the Bubur Pedas Cooking Programme organised by MAKSAK Wanita Sarawak, which will take place at Yayasan Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur in the morning of the same day.
Also present during the courtesy visit were chief assistant director (Administration, Assets and Procurement Division) Suryani Abdul Hamid, MAKSAK Wanita Education Bureau chairman Datin Fauziah Mardiana Sepawi, and Honorary Secretary of MAKSAK Wanita Sarawak, Norhayati Mornie.
