BINTULU: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has extended his well wishes to the Muslim community ahead of Ramadan, expressing hopes for good health, abundant sustenance, and strength in observing religious practices during the holy month.
He conveyed this message while performing Friday prayers at Masjid Assyakirin, Bintulu, where he joined fellow worshippers in congregational prayer led by Ustaz Saiful Bahri Soro today (Feb 28).

Also present was Deputy Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, who accompanied the Governor as the official escorting minister, along with Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee.
Following the prayers, Wan Junaidi attended a luncheon with mosque committee members, local leaders, and Bintulu residents.
Among those present were Syed Adam Wan Ali, Wan Hassan @ Osen Tuanku Mustofa, Dr Wan Zabidi Wan Morni, Ustaz Wan Sayuti Wan Sulaiman, Ustaz Syed Abdul Wahid Qushairi Syed Ahmad Johari, Wan Mohamad Ali Wan Mashor @ Drahman, Wan Ainol Akmal Wan Iskandar, Wan Zainol Fathurrahman Wan Iskandar, and Syed Nazaruddin Wan Ikhsan.
During the gathering, he emphasised that mosques serve not only as places of worship but also as institutions that unite communities and strengthen social ties.
