KUCHING: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, received two courtesy visits at the Astana Negeri Sarawak here today.

The first visit was from the main committee for the Malaysia Day Celebration, led by Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development, who is also the minister responsible for the celebration, Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom.

The purpose of the visit was to invite Wan Junaidi and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, to attend the Malaysia Day Celebration to be held at the Old Airport site in Bintulu on September 16.

Wan Junaidi and his wife were also invited to attend a Thanksgiving Ceremony on the afternoon of September 15 at Assyakirin Mosque, Bintulu, and the Malaysia Day Run at the compound of the Dewan Suarah, Bintulu. on the morning of September 16.

Subsequently, Wan Junaidi received a courtesy visit from the main committee for the state-level Maulidur Rasul Celebration 2025, led by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Commission and Islamic Affairs), who is also the minister responsible for the event, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.

The purpose of this visit was to invite Wan Junaidi and Fauziah to attend the state-level Maulidur Rasul Parade 2025 at Padang Merdeka, Kuching, on September 6.

They were also invited to attend the state-level Maulidur Rasul Thanksgiving Ceremony 2025 at the Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak here on the afternoon of September 4.
