KANOWIT: Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries, and Performing Arts Datuk Snowdan Lawan has urged all components of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) to continue providing unwavering support for one another in the interest of the state and its people.
“Strong backing from each component is fundamental to Sarawak’s progress and wellbeing.
“Therefore, I call on the people in this area to give Allan Siden Gramong the opportunity to plan development in the N.50 Machan constituency in collaboration with community leaders,” he said at the Program Ramah Mesra Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat at Rumah Tarang Nanga Apek Ulu, Sungai Poi Kanowit, on Saturday (Nov 23).
Meanwhile, regarding the state’s 2025 Budget, Snowdan said the allocation is among the largest in Sarawak’s history.
“This allocation is intended to ensure the smooth administration and management of the state while meeting the needs of the people,” he said.
He also urged residents in the area to take advantage of opportunities provided through the Mid Rajang Regional Development Agency (MiRRDA) to aid the development of rural and upriver areas.
“This is our priority in ensuring balanced development across Sarawak,” he said.
Also present was Allan, who is Machan assemblyman.
