KUCHING: The tradition of Hari Raya visits should continue to be nurtured as a symbol of unity and togetherness in society, said the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
The message was conveyed by Wan Junaidi via his official Facebook post yesterday.
He and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, were seen visiting the residence of Tan Sri Bustari Yusof and his wife, Puan Sri Johrah Abdul Rahman, as part of their Hari Raya visiting itinerary on the 20th day of Syawal.
Wan Junaidi also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Bustari and his wife for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended throughout the visit.
Also present during the visit were several distinguished individuals, including Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr Alfred Jabu Numpang as well as Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Deputy Minister, Datuk Len Talif Salleh.
