KUCHING: The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) will continue to give 50 per cent discount on rentals for its housing schemes until June 2022.
According to HDC, the discount is an incentive provided under the Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang (BKSS) 8.0 aid package by the state government announced in January, this year.
“The extended rental discount will benefit more than 3,200 tenants of the HDC housing schemes throughout Sarawak,” HDC said in a statement that was shared by Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian in his Facebook page on Sunday (April 10).
HDC mentioned that the total cost of this discount is estimated to exceed RM2.6 million.
