LIMBANG: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, are here for a series of official engagements in conjunction with the official birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah arrived at the airport here at 3:12 pm today, and were welcomed by Deputy Minister of Transport, who is also Limbang Member of Parliament. Datuk Hasbi Habibollah.
Later in the evening today, the Head of State and his wife are scheduled to attend a thanksgiving event which will be held at the Jannahtul Firdaus Mosque.
Tomorrow (Saturday, June 14), Wan Junaidi will attend the Royal Tea Reception at the Limbang Civic Centre at around 10:00 am.
It is one of the main state-level events held in honour of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s official birthday.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, are also expected to attend.
Meanwhile, the programme will continue with a visit to the ‘Raja Kita’ Exhibition, located within the grounds of the Civic Centre here.
