KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from the chairman of Fusang Exchange Limited and Baxian Bank Ltd, Federal Territory of Labuan General (Rtd) Tun (Dr) Hashim Mohd Ali at Demak Jaya here today.
When met by reporters after the meeting, Hashim informed that the visit was aimed at establishing cooperation with the Sarawak government.
He also informed that he had served as Commanding Officer of Rajang Area Security Command (RASCOM) in Sarawak and was very impressed with the development of the state of Sarawak.
Also present during the courtesy call were other representatives from Fusang Exchange Ltd and Baxian Bank Limited, Federal Territory of Labuan, David Chong and Henry Chong.
