KUCHING: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, together with Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, has received the official invitation for his 79th official birthday celebration during a courtesy call by the organising committee at the Astana Negeri.
The courtesy visit, held at 10:00 am today, also served as a briefing on the series of events scheduled to take place from October 9 to 12.
Leading the delegation was Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, who is the minister in charge of this year’s celebration.
He was joined by the Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Native Law and Customs), Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat, Deputy Minister for Utility (Sarawak Energy Bhd and PETROS) Datuk Ibrahim Baki, and Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah expressed their gratitude to the committee for their commitment and cooperation in ensuring the success of the upcoming 79th official birthday celebration.
