KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi returned to Kuching late last night (Feb 17) after attending the Grand Chinese New Year Celebration Banquet Dinner at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club in Miri.
Their flight landed at the Hornbill Skyways hangar at 11.25 pm, where they were warmly received by officers from Astana Sarawak.
Accompanying the Sarawak Governor and his wife to Miri were Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and his wife Datin Seri Zuraini Abdul Jabbar.
Wan Junaidi expressed his gratitude to Abdul Karim and his wife for their commitment and role as the accompanying minister throughout their official visit to Miri.
