KUCHING: The wife of the Head of State, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, attended the Bowling Championship themed ‘Back to School’ organised by the Sarawak Police Family Association (PERKEP) at Megalanes Emart Batu Kawa today.
She was welcomed on arrival by PERKEP Sarawak Contingent’s Chairwoman Datin Jennita William, Vice-Chairwoman Faisha Ishak, and members of the organising committee.
The tournament featured 13 teams and was officially launched with the ceremonial first roll by Fauziah.
In the end, Team Pin Head emerged as champion after a spirited competition.
Fauziah commended the organisers and congratulated all participants for their sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie displayed throughout the event.
She also conveyed her best wishes to Jennita, who will retire as chairwoman of PERKEP Sarawak Contingent on September 29 following the mandatory retirement of her husband, Sarawak Police Commissioner, Datuk Mancha Ata.
