Health carnival and roadshow in Sibuti on Sept 27-28

MIRI: The Ministry of Health, together with the office of the Deputy Minister of Health, will host the Santuni Madani Carnival and the National Agenda for Healthy Malaysia (ANMS) Roadshow for the Sibuti constituency on Sept 27 and 28.

The two-day programme will take place at Rumah Jarek, Kampung Tunku Abdul Rahman Lambir, Miri.

Residents of Sibuti are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to attend the carnival, which offers a wide range of free services and engaging activities.

Some of the highlights include health screenings, fitness checks, dental examinations, Rahmah sales, health pocket talks, and career and education counselling, alongside exhibitions by key strategic partners.

Among the participating agencies are the Department of Agriculture, Perkeso Miri, Royal Malaysia Police, Fire and Rescue Department, RTM, National Anti-Drug Agency Miri, Miri City Council, Miri Veterinary Department, Miri Community College, Miri Vocational College, Sarawak Skills Miri, and ADTEC JTM Miri (ILP Miri), among others.

The carnival will be officially launched by Deputy Health Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni, who is also Sibuti MP.

The festivities will feature performances by popular singer Rickie Andrewson, traditional games such as sepak takraw and futsal tournaments, a colouring contest, and a variety of stage activities to entertain families and visitors.
