KUCHING: The city is set to dazzle with the Kuching Heritage Lights and Floral Festival 2025, to be launched in grand style at Kuching Waterfront.
The ceremony will be officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
The highlight of the festival will be the unveiling of iconic lighting displays at three landmark locations – the Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) Headquarters at Bukit Siol, Kuching Waterfront, and the E-Penambang river transport hub.
These new illuminations are expected to transform the city’s nightscape, adding vibrant character and enhancing Kuching’s reputation as a cultural and tourism destination.
The Floral Festival Exhibition will showcase creative floral art and decorative arrangements.
The combination of dazzling lights and exquisite floral designs promises a unique visual experience for visitors, further solidifying Kuching’s position as a world-class tourism hotspot.
The festival is designed not only to beautify the city but also to strengthen Kuching’s image as a liveable, creative, and sustainable city, aligning with DBKU’s aspiration to build a harmonious community while enhancing the city’s tourism appeal.
The festival will be open to the public, inviting both locals and visitors to celebrate Kuching’s cultural vibrancy.
The grand finale will feature a spectacular fireworks display at Kuching Waterfront on October 5, 2025 at 10:00 pm.
