KUCHING: To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake, Hong Leong Bank (HLB) hosted its annual branch open houses at selected locations across Malaysia, including the HLB Central Park branch last Saturday.
This annual tradition serves as a way for the bank to strengthen connections with its customers and the community while embracing the rich cultural festivities of the season.
Customers were treated to an exciting lineup of activities, including vibrant lion dance performances, the traditional ‘lou sang’ prosperity toss, a Chinese calligraphy art booth and a variety of light refreshments.
Apart from adults, children also had the chance to participate in Chinese calligraphy and colouring competitions.
HLB Head of Business Channels Lee Ee Hui said that these open houses were a gesture of gratitude to the bank’s loyal customers and the communities it serves.
“We see ourselves as a trusted partner in our customers’ financial journeys, and by building a strong relationship with them, we can better design and provide tailor-made banking solutions and advisory that are uniquely catered to each customer in line with our Built Around You approach.

“With a dedicated team of financial advisors and relationship managers across our extensive branch network, we strive to create personalised financial solutions tailored to customers’ different risk appetites and needs, curating a truly customer-centric banking experience,” Lee said.
Meanwhile, the HLB Miri Merbau Branch also joined in the celebrations, hosting its open house and bringing the local community together to welcome the new year with joy and camaraderie.
Adding to the festive cheer, the bank has rolled out exclusive promotions on various banking products and services, including wealth management, savings accounts and investment opportunities.
