KUCHING: International Hong Kong actor, Simon Yam, arrived in Kuching on Wednesday night for the ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA) 2025.
The legendary film icon, best known for his action-packed roles across Hong Kong and international cinema, will serve as the celebrity guest for this year’s prestigious festival.
AIFFA is a regional event under the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), celebrating and honouring the finest cinematic works from across the region.
Simon Yam was warmly received upon arrival by Head of the Management Services Division at the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Dr Suzie Lim Swee Yian, who is representing Minister, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
