KUCHING: With the season nearing its conclusion, Hope FC and manager Bryan Cheong are focused on preparing themselves for the final Liga Bandaraya showdown against Amanda FC tomorrow (Feb 22), following their successful 8th-place finish.

The match will take place at Field C, Petra Jaya, at 8:45 pm here.

“We worked on certain drills for the next game and tactical setups, but it was also preparation for the next season, as well as getting some of our injured/new players into rhythm and sync with the current squad,” he told Sarawak Tribune when contacted today (Feb 21).

Reflecting on their achievements, he expressed pride in the team’s progress, saying, “Securing 8th place is a significant accomplishment for a new club, and we are rather eager to see what this talented group can achieve in the future.”

Cheong then confirmed that, aside from 1-2 players missing due to injury and commitments, most of the players in starting line-up will be available for the match.

He intends to capitalise on their current momentum and urge his team on the importance of closing the season on a strong note.
