KUCHING: Two men who attempted to break-in into a house at Jalan Semaba near here around 1pm yesterday were spotted by residents in the vicinity who then decided to give chase using a 4WD vehicle.
The burglars tried to escape in a car but during the chase which started from Jalan Semeba until Lorong 8, Jalan Sungai Maong Ulu.
The chase ended when the car used by the burglars was rear-ended by the 4WD vehicle before it landed in a ditch. The duo then got out of the car and fled. The police later arrived at the scene to investigate.
