KUCHING: Hock Seng Lee (HSL) opened its first Property Expo this weekend, offering event-only promotions across La Promenade and Jigsaw, and developments including Samariang Aman 3.
Running until October 5, the expo featured discounts up to RM18,000 and 25 per cent off furnishing packages, available only through HSL’s own sales personnel.
Senior Property Development General Manager, Tay Chiok Kee, said HSL had planned the expo since 2022, rarely offered discounts, and worked with furnishing partners.
“It is a special event with special deals. We have worked with partners to put together strong furnishing options,” Tay said in a statement.
At Samariang Aman 3, a 310-acre township in Petra Jaya, buyers received discounts starting from RM5,000 on homes nearing completion.
At La Promenade, HSL’s flagship 200-acre gated community, savings reached up to RM18,000 across selected products.
Assistant Property Sales Manager, Angie Joan, said Jigsaw, HSL’s first condominium, came with two furnishing packages, offering 25 per cent and 20 per cent discounts respectively.
“Buyers will have most of their kitchen cabinetry and wardrobes built by our team, and key appliances – such as a refrigerator and television – plus luxury essentials like memory-foam mattresses included.
“It is essentially a turnkey condo,” she said.
The expo brought banking partners for end-financing consultations and on-the-spot guidance and showcased new launches, including Vista Industrial Park’s three-storey units with heavy-duty lifts.
Retail collaborators extended additional savings, including Siong How Exclusive, Oppein, Hoan Gallery, AsahiLove bridal and photo studio, and Kuasada landscaping.
Visitors will also receive project updates on Langit, a CapitaLand-HSL high-rise collaboration of hotel and condominiums, and AIR, a masterplan competition with the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM).
HSL previewed the La Promenade Mall extension and two future phases: a follow-up to Precinct Grande, tentatively named Precinct One, and a value-focused townhouse block.
The expo ran concurrently with La Promenade Oktoberfest and would culminate on October 4 with the opening of a new resort-style duplex.
Daily programmes included lucky draws, giveaways, children’s colouring contests, magic shows, and live music from 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
“We plan to make the HSL Property Expo an annual fixture and grow it into a highlight of Sarawak’s property calendar,” Tay added.
