KOTA SAMARAHAN: Hock Seng Lee’s (HSL) first condominium project, Jigsaw, has received positive response, with all studio units fully booked in a short period.

HSL assistant sales and marketing manager Angie Joan Daniel said the development is a positive milestone for them in their effort to provide luxury homes located opposite Kuching International Airport.

“We are thrilled because our first condominium project, Jigsaw, has received an excellent response from buyers. Within two weeks of the launch in October, the best-value studio units were fully booked,” she said in a statement during the media appreciation night at Zoro, La Promenade Mall, here yesterday (Dec 10).

She added that what is even more interesting is that HSL’s customer list includes people from various backgrounds, including Jigsaw buyers, from different ethnic groups.

“In this era, most individuals want to buy homes equipped with security, sports facilities, and green spaces in front of their homes. Living in a condominium is one of the best options to enjoy all these amenities at a more affordable price. Besides, most condominium swimming pools and gyms are larger than those in private bungalows,” she explained.

HSL, a multi-disciplinary construction company based in Kuching, is preparing for a challenging year ahead and is planning various real estate projects, with about half of these projects still in the planning stage.

Key projects include new units in Samariang Aman 3, Vista Industrial Park, as well as a new phase in the 200-acre gated community, La Promenade.

Upcoming plans for La Promenade include a limited number of two-story houses, semi-detached homes, three-story luxury homes, bungalows, as well as new serviced apartments and condominiums.

HSL is also preparing for the handover of Precinct Grande in La Promenade, which features three-story homes priced between RM2.65 million and over RM4 million, along with a new riverside park that will open exclusively to residents of the gated community.

Meanwhile, HSL’s first shopping mall, La Promenade Mall, is almost fully leased, with about 90 per cent of the retail spaces occupied by six new tenants, namely MG Cars on the ground floor, two Japanese restaurants (Yoyogi Shabu Shabu and Aomori) on the second floor, Oppein (home furniture retailer), and AsahiLove (wedding studio) on the third floor. On the fourth floor, Sarawak Microelectronics Design is expanding their office space.
