KUCHING: Around 300 bikers are expected to take part in the flag-off ceremony of the Second Sarawak International Bike Gathering (SIBG), which will be held on May 10.

Daryl Chua from BorneoSuperBike (BSB) stated that the event will begin at the Able Automobile compound on Rock Road, and end at MYDIN Vista Tunku.

“We’re aiming for between 200 and 300 participants, including bikers from Kuching, Brunei, Kalimantan and Sabah.

“The flag-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm, with the riders departing in groups and concluding the ride at MYDIN Vista Tunku. This event is open to all big-bike riders in Kuching,” Chua told Sarawak Tribune in an interview today.

Chua said that the event aims to bring together bikers from across Borneo, and promote the big-bike community in Sarawak.

This year’s gathering will feature a variety of exciting activities, including a Fun Ride, lucky draws, a bike show, pocket-bike competition, Best Lighting Bike contest, Mr & Miss SIBG pageant, SIBG Master Cook cooking contest, and many more.
