SIBU: Police here are hunting for a man who has reportedly abused his wife.
The man, who is a contractor, lodged a police report on November 27 that his wife, in her 30s, fled their house.
It is believed that the woman had fled to her brother’s house in Jalan Ulu Lanang.
According to sources, the woman was contacted by the police and came to the police station last Thursday with her sister.
“The woman, who is nine months pregnant, showed the police bruises on her body and alleged she was abused by her husband,” the source said.
It is understood that the woman has two children, aged 3 and 5 years, who are with the husband.
