SEREMBAN: Businesses are moving in and shop fronts are opening at IKON @ Centrio, a 26.8-acre development that aims to become the commercial heart of Seremban 2 and a key player in Negeri Sembilan’s growth corridor.
Located in a busy commercial zone, IKON @ Centrio comprises two- and three-storey lifestyle shop units aimed at dining outlets, retail, healthcare providers, and professional services.
Unit sizes range from 3,537 to 7,305 square feet, with selected corner units offering double frontage for larger-scale operations.
IJM Land Chief Operating Officer, Datuk Chai Kian Soon, said the completion of IKON @ Centrio would strengthen Seremban 2’s role as a commercial destination in the Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 corridor.
“As major investments continue to flow into Negeri Sembilan, we foresee a rising influx of skilled professionals and investors seeking a township that offers modern city living, doorstep conveniences, security and seamless accessibility,” he said.
The site has direct access to the North-South Highway, ELITE and LEKAS, providing connections to Kuala Lumpur, KLIA and neighbouring regions.
It is expected to create jobs, draw visitors, and contribute to property value growth in the township, which has more than 60,000 residents and a surrounding catchment of over 100,000 people.
Across the road, IJM Land plans to launch IKON Residences in the third quarter of 2025.
The 44-storey freehold high-rise will be the tallest residential tower in Seremban 2, with an estimated gross development value of RM380 million.
The project is expected to complement IKON @ Centrio by adding residential demand and increasing footfall for the commercial hub.
Chai said IKON Residences was designed to appeal to both homebuyers and investors seeking long-term value.
