KUCHING: Imperial Hotel Kuching demonstrated its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by hosting a Christmas buffet for 30 students from SK Sibu Jaya, Sibu.
Sales and marketing director Irene Tan said this annual event, held since 2015, aims to spread joy during the festive season.
“We host students from rural primary schools, providing them with ‘back to school’ gifts. Many of these children haven’t had the opportunity to visit upscale hotels like ours.
“Hence, we want to give them a chance to experience Christmas celebration in a hotel setting,” Tan shared during a pre-Christmas gathering and food tasting with the students at Imperial Garden Restaurant on Monday (Dec 18).
The event coincides with the school’s “Explorasi Sarawakku Sayang” from Dec 16 to 19, allowing students to explore various places such as Sarawak Cultural Village, Petrosains, Waterfront Kuching, Borneo Cultures Museum and Jong Crocodile Farm.
On another note, Imperial Hotel Kuching is offering tempting Christmas Buffet meal packages, including Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner (from 6.30pm to 9.30pm) on Dec 24, priced at RM129 nett per adult and RM69 nett per child aged five to 12. The buffet features a variety of Western and Asian cuisines.
The Christmas Day Buffet Lunch (12pm to 3.30pm) and Christmas Day Western Set Dinner (6.30pm to 9.30pm) are both priced at RM99 per adult, with a child rate of RM49 nett for the buffet lunch.
Furthermore, the hotel is gearing up for a New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner on Dec 31, priced at RM119 per adult and RM59 per child aged five to 12.
