Indonesia President Joko Widodo has declared the country’s exit from the COVID-19 pandemic status, yesterday (Jun 21).
This decision came in response to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration of the end of the public health emergency measures against the virus.
Jokowi emphasised that the Indonesian government took this step after carefully considering the dwindling daily count of positive COVID-19 cases in the country, which is approaching zero.
