SIBU: The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuching, Raden Sigit Witjaksono, and his family, celebrated Chinese New Year 2024 here.
They were at their good friend Datuk Thomas Tieng Mee Tung and his family’s home for the Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner celebration.
Both adults and the children participated in the traditional yee sang tossing ceremony.
This marks the second year that Raden and his family celebrated the Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner with Tieng, the general manager of Mafrica Corporation Sdn Bhd, and his family.
Raden and his family also enjoyed the magnificent and breath-taking fireworks, a significant and cherished tradition during the Chinese New Year.
