BINTULU: An Indonesian man was arrested at the second floor of a shop at Jalan Abang Galau here for drug possession. Bintulu District Police chief, Superintendent Zulkipli Suhaili said the arrest was made at 10.25am yesterday.
“During a search we found straw tubes containing crystalline lumps believed to be drug in the premises,” he said during a press conference at Bintulu District Police Headquarters here, yesterday afternoon. According to Zulkipli , the drug found is valued at RM1,500.
He added that the case is being investigated under Section 39A (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952. He hoped that the public would continue to cooperate with the police by providing useful information in the fight against drug abuse and crime activities.
