SONG: Road development, a new government office complex and housing for civil servants have been identified as the top three priorities for the district here to meet the needs of its community.
Katibas assemblyman Lidam Assan and the relevant technical agencies presented the proposed projects during the Song district development pllanning briefing.
The briefing was held in conjunction with the visit of Deputy State Secretary (Administration) Datuk Buckland Bangik to the district office recently.
It also highlighted projects that have been completed, those currently in progress and others planned for the district.
Later, Buckland stressed the importance of close collaboration between the District Office, technical agencies and the State Economic Planning Unit (EPU) to ensure development applications are processed more effectively.
He expressed hope that more development proposals from Song district would be approved to enhance the well-being of its residents.
