KUCHING: Insights Analytics Bhd posted a group net profit of about RM9.9 million on revenue of RM26.47 million for the second quarter ended Oct 31, 2025 (2Q2025), translating into earnings per share of 2.25 sen.

There were no year-on-year comparisons as the Sarawak-based technology solutions provider was listed on the ACE Market only two months ago.

During the quarter under review, Insights Analytics Bhd derived revenue mainly from its intelligent asset management solutions segment, which contributed RM14.74 million, and its water technology solutions segment, which generated RM11.73 million. The group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM13.57 million.

Compared with the immediate preceding quarter (1Q2025), the group delivered higher after-tax profit of RM9.9 million versus RM9.3 million previously, despite revenue declining by RM2.23 million, or 7.8 per cent, from RM28.7 million.

The lower revenue was mainly attributed to work in progress in the construction of water treatment facilities, with a higher percentage of completion recorded in 1Q2025, the company said in the explanatory notes to its financial results.

For the first six months of 2025, Insights Analytics posted a group net profit of about RM19.2 million on revenue of RM55.2 million.

Commenting on prospects for the current financial year, the group said it remains optimistic, supported by its established position in the water technology sector and growing traction in intelligent asset management solutions.

“The intelligent asset management solutions, powered by Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and cloud computing, enable real-time tracking, predictive maintenance and automated reporting. These proactive alerts are to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness across industries to support growth.

“With a strong portfolio of proprietary systems and long-standing relationships with key water agencies in Sarawak, the group is well-positioned to secure new projects and maintain its leadership in the region,” it added.

Looking ahead, Insights Analytics said it will focus on four strategic priorities: enhancing in-house IT capabilities to support research and development as well as system upgrades, including the integration of AI and IoT technologies; strengthening its market presence in west Malaysia through a dedicated support team; securing more government-related water projects aligned with initiatives such as the non-revenue water (NRW) reduction programme and the Sarawak Water Supply Grid; and exploring strategic investments and acquisitions to expand technical capabilities and accelerate growth.

The group said it expects to maintain its growth momentum and deliver sustainable value to shareholders throughout the financial year.

Insights Analytics raised about RM43.56 million from its initial public offering in October at an issue price of 36 sen per share.
