KUCHING: Sarawakian mixed martial artist Jace Law is confident of delivering a strong comeback performance as he dedicates his upcoming fight to his pregnant wife and children.
The Malaysian representative is set to face Kurdish fighter Hakar Gardi in a pro MMA lightweight (70.3kg) bout at Strike MMA on Apr 19, scheduled from 7 pm to 11 pm at Pusat Komuniti Sentul Perdana in Kuala Lumpur.

Despite a period away from competition, Law expressed confidence heading into the fight, emphasising the work he has put in behind the scenes.
“I’m expecting to win. I’ve been away for a bit but I’ve been putting in the work,” he told Sarawak Tribune when contacted.
The Sarawakian revealed that his previous defeat a year ago served as a turning point, prompting him to reassess his preparation and make significant improvements.
“Yes, since my loss a year ago, I’ve identified some holes in my training and have made necessary changes. I also have my own gym now and I get to have a proper fight camp training with my team. The hard work and changes will show in the fight,” he added.
Law also shared that his upcoming bout carries deep personal meaning, as he draws motivation from his growing family.
“I want to dedicate this fight to my beautiful pregnant wife, Criselda, our daughter Jaelynn, and our unborn child—they are my greatest motivation,” he said.
With renewed focus, structured preparation, and strong family support, Law will be aiming to make a statement in the cage and mark a successful return on fight night.
