SIMANGGANG: The Sri Aman Community Health and Welfare Committee (JAKKSA) has provided medication and a wheelchair to 22-year-old Brandon George to help ease his daily mobility difficulties as he continues recovering from an accident.
JAKKSA Chairman, Gerald Empaling, said the assistance was provided during a visit to Brandon at Kampung Beleti, where the committee also assessed his condition and identified other needs that could support his recovery.
“We wanted to be on the ground, not just hear about his situation. Seeing Brandon’s difficulties firsthand helped us understand how urgent the assistance he needs is,” he said in a statement today.
Gerald said Brandon is currently facing difficulty moving due to injuries sustained in the accident, which have also prevented him from working as usual.
The situation has placed additional pressure on Brandon’s family as he now depends entirely on them to support his wife and their two-year-old child.
“This is not just about one individual but also concerns the welfare of his entire family. We hope this small contribution will help ease some of their burden,” added Gerald.
Gerald said JAKKSA would also look into other forms of assistance that Brandon may require throughout his recovery.
He also prayed for Brandon’s speedy recovery and hoped he would eventually be able to resume his normal life with his family.
