PADAWAN: The Commercial Crime Investigation Division (CCID) here is actively looking for a man named James Joe Wellfreed Jerani to facilitate investigations into a fraud case.
Padawan police chief Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said that the 41-year-old is wanted to assist in solving a case under Section 420 of the Penal Code.
The section pertains to cheating and dishonestly inducing the delivery of property, which carries up to 10 years imprisonment, caning and a fine, upon conviction.
Members of the public with any information regarding James’ whereabouts, are urged to come forward and channel them to the police.
