KUCHING: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Kuching will host ‘Corporate Visit 2.0 – Startup & Training’ on August 23 at GEM Consultancy Kuching from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in collaboration with Sarawak Entrepreneur Association (SEA) and Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysia (PUMM) Sarawak.
The event, aimed at supporting local startups, will provide training on company registration, sales techniques, and obtaining business licences including trainer and halal certification.
Participants will also have opportunities to network and pitch business ideas to stakeholders.
Key sessions include a step-by-step guide to registering a company, sales training to boost business performance, insights into Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) programmes, halal certification application guidance, and JCI in Business (JIB) networking sessions.
JCI Kuching, SEA and PUMM Sarawak have all contributed to Sarawak’s development by promoting leadership, empowering young entrepreneurs with networking and international business opportunities, and supporting SMEs through knowledge sharing and business growth initiatives.
Registration for the event is free for members and RM25 for non-members.
