
KUCHING: JCI Padawan successful held its Officer Training School Phase 1 at its secretariat recently.
The invited trainer is Charter President JCI Member Kiing Sie Ying where six directors attended and completed the training.
The first phase of the Officer Training School focuses on the JCI vision, mission, creed, the management structure of the local organisation,, awards type and the responsibilities and goals of JCI directors.
The trainer, JCI Member Kiing Sie Ying said that during the three hours course, all the participants were very enthusiastic and competing to raise their questions. This is his first time to be a trainer of this course.
Junior Chamber International is an international youth group covering more than 120 countries around the world, and is the only United Nations youth alliance institution.
Its mission is to provide the development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.
Though its personal development opportunities as one of the four major developments, it provides its members with a variety of training programme such as goal setting, time management, and lecture skills designed to inspire the potential of leaders and enhance their internal comprehensive and external resilience.
