KUCHING: The 2025 Jelajah Ramadan Programme, organised by the Satok Constituency Service Centre, continues to bring a sense of vibrancy to the holy month with a range of welfare and development initiatives.

Held at Darulhana Patingan Mosque last Sunday (March 9), the event saw the presence of Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki, who joined locals in performing the Isyak and Tarawih prayers.

As in previous years, one of the key highlights of the event was the distribution of donations to 15 asnaf (eligible recipients of zakat).

Additionally, Ibrahim presented a special contribution to Darulhana Patingan Mosque to support the smooth running of programmes throughout the Ramadan period.

He said that there are several new infrastructure projects set to take place in Kampung No. 6.

These include the paving of Jalan Lorong, which will cost RM120,000, the construction of a drainage system worth RM150,000, and a RM100,000 allocation under the Minor Rural Project (MRP).

With these initiatives, Ibrahim expressed hope to continue supporting the local community, particularly in improving infrastructure and addressing the welfare of those in need.
