KUCHING: The Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar yesterday (Jan 5) received a courtesy visit from veteran journalist M. Rajah at the former’s official residence in Petra Jaya.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both of them to discuss the progress of several books authored by Wan Junaidi, which were currently in the publication phase.

Rajah, an experienced writer and senior media practitioner, is actively assisting in the completion of these works.

Among the publications discussed was a writing project originally initiated by the late Datuk James Ritchie, a prominent journalism figure known for his contributions to documenting Sarawak’s history and development.

Wan Junaidi hoped that the books would be successfully published within this year, noting that they were not only intended as casual reading materials but also as meaningful documentation and reference sources for society, particularly future generations.
