KUCHING: Sarawak’s Kabilan Jelevan and Boy Prata are all set to fly the state flag high at Byon Combat 6 this weekend (November 22) at the prestigious Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Both fighters, who come from rich multicultural Sarawakian backgrounds, are stepping onto one of the region’s rising combat sports platforms with the aim of testing their skills against seasoned opponents.

Boy Prata, 24, born to an Indian father and an Iban mother, will square off against Londo in a kickstriking bout that promises intensity and speed.

Kabilan Jelevan, 25, whose father is Indian and mother is Kayan, is set to face Indonesia’s Fahri Alamsyah in another thrilling matchup.

For both athletes, the event offers a valuable chance to further sharpen their craft and gain international experience.

It also serves as an opportunity to spotlight Sarawak’s diverse talent and strengthen the state’s growing presence in the Southeast Asian combat sports scene.
