Kapitan Ling Hang Pin unopposed as Kapit’s Chinese Chamber president

KAPIT: Kapitan Ling Hang Pin retains his post unopposed to continue as the president of Kapit Chinese Chamber of Commerce at its annual general meeting held over the week end held at the chambers’ conference room.

Also returned unopposed to retain their respective posts were its secretary Ling Kong Sie and treasurer Wong Kei Wei

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce is the governance body of the Chinese business communities in Kapit.

The other line-up of the new committee for fiscal year 2019 to 2020 were Sii Bang Ee the deputy president while as Thomas Dong as the vice president. Ling Kong Sie is the secretary while Ting King Yiing the assistant secretary. Wong Kei Wei is the treasurer and assisted by Kapitan Yiap Yii Hoo.

The other committee members were Ting Hwa Kiong and Sia Ee Hui (general affairs), Tiong Ping and Penghulu Wong Kie Ing (business and commerce), Kapitan Teo Tian Chai (children and education), Dato Yong Hua Sying (corporate social responsibility). Ngieng Hock Seng (sports and recreation) and David Wong Hau Ching (welfare) respectively.
