SIBU: Kelab Wushu Permai Timur (KWPT) successfully held its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Thomas Corner here today.
The AGM gathered members to review the club’s achievements over the past year, discuss future development plans, and strengthen unity among members.
The meeting also served as an important platform to elect the new Board of Directors for the 2026 term.
Wong Hua Yiing was unanimously elected as the KWPT president with Michael Wong as the deputy president.
The post of first vice president went to Tiong Lee Hing while Wong Kuok Liang held the post of second vice president.
Daniel Iing Shii Ngie is the secretary, Cindy Hii Yee Fong as the assistant secretary and Ting See Nguik as the treasurer.
The elected committee members are Daniel Lim Chuong Wee, Louis Wong Ti Lung, Wee Siaw Pei and Danny Ling Hang Kee.
Expressing its sincere appreciation to all members for their continuous support and participation, the club is looking forward to further promoting wushu activities, nurturing young talent, and strengthening community engagement in the coming year.
