KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching recently received a generous contribution from the Kelly Group, a well-known local philanthropist group that has long supported the welfare organisation.
Led by Kelly Lau, members of the Kelly Group personally handed over their donation at Satok Road here to Hope Place’s founder, Kelvin Wan.
The group contributed 200 packets of adult diapers and 100 boxes of dry noodles, amounting to a total value of more than RM10,000.
“Many underprivileged families and people in need will be blessed by this contribution. We are thankful to have such long-standing patronage from the Kelly Group all these years,” said Hope Place in a statement on Thursday.
The non-government organisation (NGO) added that while the donation will go a long way in helping the local underserved community, they continue to welcome contributions such as malt drinks, children’s milk powder for ages 1 to 3 and 4 to 6, as well as adult diapers in M size.
For more information, the public can contact Hope Place or Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (PKHK) at 082-505987.
All donations are welcome and receipts will be issued upon request.
