KUCHING: Local philanthropist group, Kelly Group, has once again extended its support to Hope Place with a generous donation of food aid and basic necessities worth RM10,280.
Hope Place representative, Kelvin Wan, received the donation from Kelly Group representative, Kelly Lau, during a handover at the organisation’s premises in Satok here.
“We are truly grateful to benefactors like Kelly Group here in Kuching, who are always supporting the underserved community, regardless of background or creed,” Wan said in a statement issued by Hope Place on Monday.
Among the items given were children’s milk powder for ages one to three, children’s milk powder for ages four to six, malt drinks and other food items.
As a longtime benefactor, Kelly Group has continuously contributed to the non-governmental organisation that is currently supporting more than 330 underserved families here.
