KUCHING: Daeloniel “Kilat Boy” McDelon Bong lands a spectacular technical knockout (TKO) victory over Prince Andrew Laurio at the Johor International Boxing Championship 2025 on Sunday.

Sealing the win in just the second round, the explosive finish demonstrated Daeloniel’s precision and power, leaving Laurio unable to recover as the referee stepped in to halt the contest.
“I am feeling extremely happy, and as always, I am grateful for the win,” the 26-year-old remarked when contacted by Sarawak Tribune recently.
The 26-year-old from Sri Aman was relentless in the second round, responding to Laurio’s unsportsmanlike tactics, including head-butts, with a calculated onslaught.
“After the second round, I went all out — my opponent was getting dirty, and I knew I had to finish it there,” Daeloniel explained.
With his resolve remaining steadfast, the match ended swiftly, with Laurio unable to withstand the barrage of pinpoint strikes. Daeloniel’s composure and focus were evident as he capitalised on every opening, forcing the referee to call an end to the bout.
“After this fight, I will take a quick break, then it is back to drawing board for training in a week,” he added, firmly keeping his sights set on future challenges.
With his impressive TKO victory, Daeloniel is emerging as one of boxing’s brightest stars, ready to take on the next challenge in his promising career.
